The Watford Conference 2025 – Register your Interest

The Watford Group are pleased to announce the return of The 55th Watford Conference, held on 22 – 24 September at Kings Place, London.

Last held in Singapore in 2022, the conference is a forum of international railways professionals / architects, where the delegates from representatives’ countries can present their work to peers in an informal atmosphere.

Discussions between and after the presentations allow further exploration and sharing ideas and experience. Contacts and networks created during the conference facilitate the continued exchange of ideas across international boundaries afterwards.

The itinerary is:

• Sunday 21 September: Arrival (a welcome to London meeting point)
• Monday 22 September: Conference and Tours / An Evening Drinks Reception.
• Tuesday 23 September: Conference and Tours
• Wednesday 24 September: Conference / The Brunel Awards / The Candlelit Dinner
• Thursday 25 September: An optional visit to York, including visiting the National Railway Museum.
  Please note: The optional visit to York will not be included in the delegate pass.

In addition we will also be celebrating Railway 200:

Railway 200 will be a year-long nationwide partnership-led campaign to celebrate 200 years of the modern railway and inspire a new generation of young pioneering talent to choose a career in rail. It invites community, rail and other groups to get involved.
